After having a monster 2022 Rose Bowl performance in the Buckeye’s comeback win over Utah last year, Smith-Njigba was projected by many NFL Draft analysts in the media as the top wide receiver prospect in the 2023 NFL Draft. I have others who are my personal favorites, but there is no doubt that he can be a special player in the NFL.

Smith-Njigba missed the majority of the 2022 college football season with a series of nagging injuries.

Smith-Njigba joins Trey Palmer, Zay Flowers, and Jadon Haselwood as underclassman receivers to declare for the draft but is the first true junior receiver to place his name into the ring. He is projected to be a first-round pick in April.
