Tre Tucker is a slot receiver exclusively at the next level who can serve as a special teams returner if he can’t immediately get on the field on offense. The downside to Tucker is that he really hasn’t played a lot of football – just over 1000 career snaps over the last four years. The real issue is that while Tucker has speed, he may be limited to underneath work and special teams – if he can get on the field early.

Tre Tucker scouting notes
Pros:
- Very solid speed and quickness. Made Bruce Feldman’s freaks list this year due to his speed.
- Changes direction crisply and with little effort.
- Very solid body control.
- Acceleration looks pretty good.
- Fairly crisp through his routes. Ran a good, extended route tree at Cincinnati.
- Solid receiver. Good pair of hands.
- Fairly consistent receiver. Suffered just 10 drops through his career (8.1%).
- Flashes the ability to make catches through contact.
- Tucker does a solid job picking his way through traffic and finding little creases of space among defenders.
- Good contact balance after the catch.
Cons:
- Has a decent release, didn’t often see press.
- Not so much of a deep threat. Struggles to track the ball efficiently.
- Not going to be an efficient target in the end zone just due to his lack of size.
- Didn’t play much football, just over 1000 career snaps.
