2023 NFL Draft Scouting Report: RB Mo Ibrahim, Minnesota

2023 NFL Draft Scouting Report: RB Mo Ibrahim, Minnesota

Mo Ibrahim has been an incredibly effective runner at Minnesota, and in terms of being a running back prospect, Ibrahim has all of the tools and skills needed to be a starter in the NFL. The only real issue is that after tearing his ACL in 2021, he stayed in school and returned for his sixth year, making him a very old running back prospect in 2023. Someone could swipe Ibrahim on day three and have a legitimate week one starter on their hands.

Ibrahim, at this point, is exactly who we think that he is. There isn’t a lot of upside to his game, and some people will have issues with his age (25) which leads you to believe that he’s simply a one-contract running back. He can contribute to a team immediately, but it won’t be long before someone is ready to replace him.

He tore his Achilles in week one against Ohio State and missed the rest of the 2021 season. Missed a game in 2022 with an injury.
