Alex Khvatov:  What are your measurements (height, weight and forty time)?

Tanner Holder:  6’3, 205 and 4.45-4.48 forty.

Alex Khvatov:  Where are you currently training for the NFL Draft?

Tanner Holder:  I am currently still in school, so I am training at the work out facilities on campus and I am currently on a strict diet.

Alex Khvatov:  Coming out of high school, what programs showed interest in

you?

Tanner Holder:  Mostly division II schools such as Central Missouri and St. Cloud State.

Alex Khvatov:  How did you wind up at JUCO?

Tanner Holder:  Ultimately my grades and ACT weren’t high enough out of high school.

Alex Khvatov:  Why did you choose Iowa Wesleyan University?

Tanner Holder:  I choose Iowa Wesleyan because I felt it was the best opportunity for me to succeed, not only on the field but in the classroom and in life.

Alex Khvatov:  What are your strengths?

Tanner Holder:  Being able to be a leader/ mentor especially to the younger guys, but also very willing to listen and be coachable.  I am a player who is always

trying to get better.

Alex Khvatov:  What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon?

Tanner Holder:  My overall route running.  I want to be able to run every route crisp, being able to get in and out of my breaks quickly, also my burst after the catch and my releases off the line.

Alex Khvatov:  Describe your overall career.

Tanner Holder:  I think I had a good overall career.  I could have always been better, but I think I made the most out of the opportunity’s presented.  Leading the team in receptions and being around one of the top guys in the conference at my position consistently.

Alex Khvatov:  What is the highlight of your career up to this point?

Tanner Holder:  The highlight of my career so far would be getting a key block in a game where we needed to keep the chains moving in a conference game to win and I was able to give my running back a two way go.

Alex Khvatov:  What is your biggest accomplishment in college that you are most proud of?

Tanner Holder:  I managed to accomplish a lot of things.  I am proud of having a very low drop percentage throughout my whole collegiate career, also averaging a first down or better on every catch throughout.  Becoming a better leader on and off the field and a more complete WR in all aspects of the game.

Alex Khvatov:  What have you learned the most from your coaching staff?

Tanner Holder:  I learned a lot of things they taught and showed me how to become a better person and leader.  If I want to be great, I have to always be reliable.

Alex Khvatov:  What is your favorite NFL team?

Tanner Holder:  Baltimore Ravens.

Alex Khvatov:  Who is your favorite NFL player?

Tanner Holder:  Julio Jones, Odell Beckham and Devante Adams.

Alex Khvatov:  What is the most important trait for a WR?

Tanner Holder:  Being able to make the big plays while defenders are around, not just when you’re wide open.  Being able to go up and get the ball at its highest point.

Alex Khvatov:  Before the ball is snapped, what are the tendencies that you are looking for from the offense?

Tanner Holder:  I am looking to see if my corner’s eyes are in the backfield.  I am looking at the safeties to see if they are one high or two high.  If my corner is pressed up or playing off.

Alex Khvatov:  What players on your team should we keep an eye on for next

season?

Tanner Holder:  Jacob Santos and Craig Wrenn.

Alex Khvatov:  Who is the toughest player that you have faced on an opposing team?

Tanner Holder:  Trevon Moore.

Tanner Holder:  The competitiveness of the game.  I love the competition.

Alex Khvatov:  What are your hobbies?

Tanner Holder:  Some hobbies I have are going on hikes, playing Xbox and reading books.
