Alex Khvatov:  What are your measurements (height, weight and forty time)?

 

Malik Wilder:  5’10, 180, 4.5. 

 

Alex Khvatov:  Where are you currently training for the NFL Draft?

 

Malik Wilder:  Test Football Academy in New Jersey.   

 

Alex Khvatov:  When is your Pro Day?

 

Malik Wilder:  March 25th.   

 

Alex Khvatov:  Coming out of high school, what programs showed interest in you?

 

Malik Wilder:  I received scholarships from the University of New Hampshire, Fordham, Maine & the University of Rhode Island.   

 

Alex Khvatov:  Why did you choose Rhode Island? 

 

Malik Wilder:  Wanted to be a staple in a program on the rise and compete at a high level.

 

Alex Khvatov:  What are your strengths?

 

Malik Wilder:  Some of my strengths are my mental toughness, hip fluidity and ability to lead.   

 

Alex Khvatov:  What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon?

 

Malik Wilder:  I am trying to improve route recognition.  

 

Alex Khvatov:  Tell us about your overall career.

 

Malik Wilder:  Throughout my career, I have been faced with adversity, but overall I have found my way to overcome it and win.

 

Alex Khvatov:  What is the highlight of your career up to this point?

 

Malik Wilder:  Catching an interception in our home opener in front of a sold-out crowd.  

 

Alex Khvatov:  What is your biggest accomplishment in college that you are most proud of?

 

Malik Wilder:  Graduating. 

 

Alex Khvatov:  What was the biggest thing that you took away from your coaching staff?

 

Malik Wilder:  Always compete and find a way to win no matter what.

 

Alex Khvatov:  What is the most important trait for a CB?

 

Malik Wilder:  The ability to remain poised regardless of the circumstance and outcome.  

 

Alex Khvatov:  What is your favorite NFL team?

 

Malik Wilder:  Eagles.   

 

Alex Khvatov:  Who is your favorite NFL player?

 

Malik Wilder:  Patrick Peterson.   

 

Alex Khvatov:  Before the ball is snapped, what are the tendencies that you are looking for from the offense?

 

Malik Wilder:  Looking for any noticeable signals or communication between QB and WR’s that I saw on film, then cadence and the WR’s body language and stance. 

 

Alex Khvatov:  What players on your team should we keep an eye on for next season?

 

Malik Wilder:  Ed Lee, Cayvian Holmes, Jordan Jones, Antonio Carter, and Jarrett Martin just to name a few.

 

Alex Khvatov:  Who is the best player that you have faced on an opposing team? 

 

Malik Wilder:  Nasir Adderley.   

 

Alex Khvatov:  What do you enjoy most about football?

 

Malik Wilder:  The competition.   

 

Alex Khvatov:  What is your definition of a leader?

 

Malik Wilder:  A leader is one who embodies what qualities it takes to accomplish a goal.

 

Alex Khvatov:  What are your hobbies?

 

Malik Wilder:  I enjoy listening to music.

 

Alex Khvatov:  What do you want to do with your life after your football career is over?

 

Malik Wilder:  Most likely get into investments and real estate. 

 

Alex Khvatov:  What five words best describe you?

 

Malik Wilder:  Grateful, stoic, ambitious, reliable and purposeful.
