2023 NFL Draft Scouting Report: TE Dalton Kincaid, Utah

A transfer from San Diego, Dalton Kincaid is an athletic specimen who might better fit into a slot role than he will as an inline tight end. Kincaid’s athletic ability stands out on tape as he makes some electric plays. He’s going to be limited as a blocker at the next level but his impact as a receiver and his ability to stretch the field should make up for liabilities.

The upside with Kincaid is not great. He’s almost a finished product. One thing he could get more consistent with is being a blocker, which could help his versatility tremendously. But, his strength isn’t great for the position group, which tells me that his blocking upside is limited.

Struggled through the 2022 season with a shoulder injury. Did not workout at the NFL Combine and his pro day due to a chest injury.
