2019 East/West Shrine Game
East Report – Day 1 (Monday Practice)
By: Alex Khvatov
DE Jordan Brailford (Oklahoma State) – entered the NFL Draft after his junior season. He already graduated, so he got invitation to an all-star game. He had a terrific junior campaign. He is a pass rusher who displayed quickness and bend off the edge. He caused havoc in the backfield during the scrimmage portion. He used a nice spin move in the one on one’s.
CB Jimmy Moreland (James Madison) – is an undersized CB with great ball skills. He is a nickel corner at the next level. He lined up outside and inside during Monday’s practice. On one play, he lined up in press coverage, ran the route for the WR and came up with an INT. He displays quick feet and a smooth backpedal.
WR Terry Godwin (Georgia) – is a burner who can stretch the field. He made sharp cuts in and out of his breaks and created separation. He displayed good hands and made a couple of tough catches in traffic. He is a slot WR at the next level.
OL Oli Udoh (Elon) – is a small school OL with great size and long arms. He is playing RT here, but I think that he projects better at guard at the next level. He showed his strength, good feet and sustained his blocks extremely well. He was the most consistent OL on Monday.
S Delvon Randall (Cincinnati) – is an all-around safety with terrific range. He is very instinctive and just has a nose for the ball. He was physical with the TE at the line of scrimmage in coverage. He also demonstrated his ability to get a good break on the ball.
