Wyoming Pro Day

Safety Andrew Wingard didn’t run the forty because he was happy with his time from the Scouting Combine.  But he did go through the positional drills.  He looked really smooth dropping into coverage and displayed good ball skills.  He did have to redo a backpedaling drill.  He drew a lot of interest from scouts especially the Titans.

The broad jump results were:

RB Nico Evans – 10’2 feet

TE Austin Fort – 9’5 feet

DL Sidney Malauulu – 8’9 feet

TE Tyree Mayfield – 9’11 feet

LB Chavez Pownell Jr. – 9’5 feet

DE/LB Kevin Prosser – 10’5 feet

I was too far away to get an accurate reading, but the really rough results (from a local newspaper reporter) were:

S Andrew Wingard – 6.84 3-cone and a 4.23 short shuttle

RB Nico Evans – 4.54 40-yard dash

S Marcus Epps – 4.46 40-yard dash, 6.73 3-cone drill and a 4.09 short shuttle

DL Carl Granderson and Youhanna Ghaifan were not allowed to participate at the pro day.
