Overview
Hakeem Butler showed flashes during his sophomore year, but emerged as one of the better receivers in the nation during his junior season. He was a big-play threat WR in the Big 12. He is a playmaker with size, huge hands and excellent body control. He ran a 4.48 at the Combine, but I don’t see that speed translating onto the football field. He has a tough time creating separation and the drops are a huge issue as well. He should be drafted somewhere in the third round.
