Christopher Reiss: What are your measurements? (Height/Weight/40 Time)
Caleb Brown: 6’2, 205lbs and I run a 4.5 40-yard dash.
Christopher Reiss: With COVID-19, how did you prepare for the 2020-2021 season?
Caleb Brown: I have been doing beach workouts, running on hiking trails, and also a lot of self-workouts like pushups and sits ups.
Christopher Reiss: Besides football, what other sports did you play in high school?
Caleb Brown: I did track and field. The events that I ran were the 100 meters, 200 meters, and 4 x100 meters.
Christopher Reiss: What positions did you play in high school?
Caleb Brown: In high school, I played cornerback. I also played running back.
Christopher Reiss: Coming out of high school, what programs showed interest in you?
Caleb Brown: NAIA College in Idaho.
Christopher Reiss: How would you describe your overall career?
Caleb Brown: My overall career has had its ups and downs, but overall I am extremely proud of myself. I always look back at my past to help myself in the future with my journey ahead.
Christopher Reiss: What are some of strengths?
Caleb Brown: My greatest strength is being very instinctive. I am also a great leader to the group of guys that I work with, and I am just a very physical player.
Christopher Reiss: What are some of the things you need to work on?
Caleb Brown: I am working on my eye discipline and my overall footwork in getting in and out of my breaks.
Christopher Reiss: What is the highlight of your career thus far?
Caleb Brown: My entire sophomore year was the highlight of my career. I made All-Conference last season, which was very cool. But if I had to pick a play, it would be the pick-six that I had last season.
Christopher Reiss: What do you enjoy most about football?
Caleb Brown: I enjoy the mental toughness of the game. I love how you have to forget the past plays and worry about the future plays that you have to make.
Christopher Reiss: What is your favorite NFL team?
Caleb Brown: The Dallas Cowboys.
Christopher Reiss: Who are some of your favorite players?
Caleb Brown: The Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.
Christopher Reiss: Is there any player or players in the NFL that you look up to?
Caleb Brown: Easy, Derwin James.
Christopher Reiss: Life after football, what does that look like?
Caleb Brown: Life after football, I plan to become an entrepreneur. I want to own businesses and on top of that, I want to get my real estate license too.
Christopher Reiss: Are there any players that we should keep an eye out for at Hampton?
Caleb Brown: Our WR Jadakis Bonds. The kid is a freak on the field.
Christopher Reiss: What can we expect from Hampton this year?
Caleb Brown: The goal is to win the championship, and the team feels as strongly as I do about winning it this year.
Christopher Reiss: What or who motivates you the most?
Caleb Brown: I want to make life easier for my loved ones around me. I also want high school players that came out with zero stars to know that they can do anything they set their minds to.
Christopher Reiss: What is something you are most proud of?
Caleb Brown: My relationship with God is what I am most proud of. My life is always clear when I have God on my side.
Christopher Reiss: In college, what are you majoring in?
Caleb Brown: I am majoring in entrepreneurship.
Christopher Reiss: If you never played football, what sport would you consider playing?
Caleb Brown: I would have to say basketball.
Christopher Reiss: What do you enjoy doing during your free time?
Caleb Brown: I really enjoy cooking, meditating, and playing video games like Madden.
Christopher Reiss: In the locker room before the game, which artist gets you pumped up?
Caleb Brown: I would have to say Young Thug. He is my favorite artist.
