Christopher Reiss:  With COVID-19, how did you prepare for the 2020-2021 season?

Caleb Brown:  I have been doing beach workouts, running on hiking trails, and also a lot of self-workouts like pushups and sits ups.

Christopher Reiss:  Besides football, what other sports did you play in high school?

Caleb Brown:  I did track and field.  The events that I ran were the 100 meters, 200 meters, and 4 x100 meters.

Christopher Reiss:  What positions did you play in high school?

Caleb Brown:  In high school, I played cornerback.  I also played running back.

Christopher Reiss:  Coming out of high school, what programs showed interest in you?

Caleb Brown:  NAIA College in Idaho.

Christopher Reiss:  How would you describe your overall career?

Caleb Brown:  My overall career has had its ups and downs, but overall I am extremely proud of myself.  I always look back at my past to help myself in the future with my journey ahead.

Christopher Reiss:  What are some of strengths?

Caleb Brown:  My greatest strength is being very instinctive.  I am also a great leader to the group of guys that I work with, and I am just a very physical player.

Christopher Reiss:  What are some of the things you need to work on?

Caleb Brown:  I am working on my eye discipline and my overall footwork in getting in and out of my breaks.

Christopher Reiss:  What is the highlight of your career thus far?

Caleb Brown:  My entire sophomore year was the highlight of my career.  I made All-Conference last season, which was very cool.  But if I had to pick a play, it would be the pick-six that I had last season.

Christopher Reiss:  What do you enjoy most about football?

Caleb Brown:  I enjoy the mental toughness of the game.  I love how you have to forget the past plays and worry about the future plays that you have to make.

Christopher Reiss:  What is your favorite NFL team?

Caleb Brown:  The Dallas Cowboys.

Christopher Reiss:  Who are some of your favorite players?

Caleb Brown:  The Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Christopher Reiss:  Is there any player or players in the NFL that you look up to?

Caleb Brown:  Easy, Derwin James.

Christopher Reiss:  Life after football, what does that look like?

Caleb Brown:  Life after football, I plan to become an entrepreneur.  I want to own businesses and on top of that, I want to get my real estate license too.

Christopher Reiss:  Are there any players that we should keep an eye out for at Hampton?

Caleb Brown:  Our WR Jadakis Bonds.  The kid is a freak on the field.

Christopher Reiss:  What can we expect from Hampton this year?

Caleb Brown:  The goal is to win the championship, and the team feels as strongly as I do about winning it this year.

Christopher Reiss:  What or who motivates you the most?

Caleb Brown:  I want to make life easier for my loved ones around me.  I also want high school players that came out with zero stars to know that they can do anything they set their minds to.

Christopher Reiss:  What is something you are most proud of?

Caleb Brown:  My relationship with God is what I am most proud of.  My life is always clear when I have God on my side.
