It feels as though Spencer Sanders has been the quarterback at Oklahoma State for the past decade, but if he does not declare for the NFL Draft this year, he will have one more season of eligibility remaining. Sanders is a mobile quarterback who has progressed as a passer slowly over the course of his four years as a starter. He continues to show improvement, which leads us to believe he still has a ceiling left to hit.

Pros:

- Sanders has the ability to throw with very nice touch.
- Very impressive arm strength. Throws with good velocity and has the ability to really stretch the field.
- Sanders has the ability to throw with very nice touch.
- Flashes elite placement, but is very inconsistent overall.
- Works very well in the pocket. Very impressive.
- Has the athletic ability to move outside of the pocket effectively.
- Very athletic quarterback. Offers a lot of run ability with his legs. Good speed.
Cons:
- Needs to understand when to take a little heat off his throws. Sometimes will force balls into the middle of the field with a lot of heat that he doesn’t need to throw. When he throws the deep touch ball, it’s special.
- Not consistent with his accuracy at all. Has a tendency to try and force the ball at times and doesn’t have the placement to get away with it.
- Wants to bolt a good pocket much too early.
- Tries to throw off his back foot much too often.
- Processing pre-snap is questionable.
