Most of us know the story of JT Daniels – the transfer from USC to Georgia and losing the job to Stetson Bennett. Better QBs have lost that job before. He’s tough, gritty, & still getting better as a passer which is worth seeing out. It is my opinion that he should stay in school one more year and focus on the fundamentals, which may be difficult if Chad Brown is fired this season.

JT Daniels scouting notes
Pros:
- Excellent touch ball. He throws it well and with timing.
- Lighting quick release. Impressive timing.
- Moves decently well in the pocket.
- Flashes improvability with composure.
Cons:
- Arm strength is slightly above average. Distance isn’t as great as you would like to see, and he prefers to throw with touch rather than velocity. Can throw with strong velocity within 20 yards.
- Accuracy is still very spotty.
- Placement is not consistent with JT Daniels, who will just flat-out miss on throws or put balls behind his intended target.
- Inconsistent footwork. Sometimes gets very narrow in his stance, other times gets very wide. Doesn’t have a consistent stance.
- Feet are not quick.
- Just does not have the mobility to really extend the play outside of the pocket.
