A transfer from Mississippi State, Fabien Lovett has become a force in the Florida State defense. His power and quickness allowed him to dominate in the ACC, where he was productive and an impact player over the last two seasons – when he was on the field. He missed seven games over the last two seasons at Florida State, enough to raise concerns and put attention on his medicals at the Combine.

Pros:
- Decent speed for the position. Movement ability is alright.

- Solid upper body strength.
- Good lower body drive. Has solid explosion and generates a lot of power.
- Has some brute to his game.
- Has a solid first step.
- Good explosion. Very solid for the position group.
- Hand placement is good, not great. Makes up for a lot of his placement issues with his intensity. Very difficult to handle for a defender.
- Plays in space decently well. Solid contain defender.
- Decent recognition ability. Does a good job to position himself to make a play on the football.
Cons:
- Did not often draw double teams but when he did, it was not great.
- Flashes the potential to disrupt double teams, but not particularly consistent with it.
- Decent tackler. Tends to swipe at the ball too much.
- Has had some issues staying healthy. Medicals at the Combine will be very important.
