Evan Hull offers potential as a power back in a rotational backfield. While he overall lacks the speed that the position typically demands, his consistency in picking up the tough yards in power situations and his value as a receiver and pass protector projects him as having a real chance at playing at the next level in this role.

Evan Hull scouting notes
Pros:
- Changes direction well. Weaves his way through traffic.
- Looks a lot bigger than he’s listed. Very strong runner. Played some wildcat QB in power situations. Typically could get the tough yards, was not stopped often.
- Good at running between the tackles but more so from a low-running style.
- Reads blocks well, stays moving to avoid slowing down. Very patient runner.
- Incredible contact balance. Nifty quickness makes him very effective between the tackles.
- Capable as a receiver out of the backfield. Strong hands. Good catch radius. Utilized both as a checkdown receiver and a screen receiver and was very effective.
- Shows some ability to be an effective chip blocker.
Cons:
- I don’t see a lot of speed from Hull.
- Not a brute, per se.
- Average explosiveness.
- Decent route runner – nothing overly special.
