A transfer from Northwestern. Eku Leota missed most of the 2022 season with a season-ending injury sustained against LSU in week 5. Pros:
- Fairly athletic for his size.
- Has some serious lateral quickness.
- First step looks pretty good. Flashes a great first step at times.
- Fairly explosive athlete.
- Solid lower body strength. Shows both explosion and the ability to drive out of his launch.
- Hand usage is pretty good. Looks like he has a decent rip.
Cons:
- Speed is maybe above average at best.
- Body control is average. Doesn’t stop and go very effectively.
- Average upper body strength.
- Average space defender.
- Motor isn’t consistent throughout the play. Will just give up and lose track of the play too often for my liking.
